Who
Be Kind Live has been a vision that I've worked on for many years! I've wanted to combine two important aspects of my life, 'giving' and 'live music' for as long as I can remember. If there's one thing I know that brings people together it is music! So join me and this amazing cause in giving back to those who need it most, through celebrating together at our live gigs!
How
Be Kind host live music gigs and concerts with all profits raised through ticket and merchandise sales being distributed to our chosen charity partner! We pride ourselves in partnering up with the charities that you, our community are passionate about. As well as raising money we want to expose the incredible work being done daily, that gets little recognition. As a Not For Profit Organisation you can have the peace of mind that your money is doing good!
Why?
The largest 1.2% of charities in the UK receive 72% of the income.
As a Not For Profit Organisation our aim is to shine a light on and raise awareness in support of local charities in your area through our live music events. We understand that people have busy lives and that everyone has their own challenges and busy schedules but that you also want to make a difference and don't have the outlet to do so. We are that outlet.
What is a community interest company?
And what is a 'not for profit'
In simple terms a community interest company is a not for profit organisation up to make money for the community!
What is a not for profit I hear you say? A not for profit doesn't see a select few men in suits, board members or owners pocketing profits - we put our profits back into the business for example, we raise £5,000 with a gig, the band and merch cost £2,000 = £3,000 is given to our charity partner. Simple.

Hi and welcome to Be Kind Live. Just a short introduction to who we are and the mission we are all going to be part of!
My name is Lauren (on the left) and Be Kind Live is my baby! I love going to gigs and I get so much out of giving back. As well as working full time, I volunteer and for a number of years I've been working on Be Kind Live behind the scenes. It's a mash up of everything I love from life!
So I'm going to give you gigs with your favourite artists, and you're going to see your ticket money and any monies from any merchandise you may buy going straight back to charity! Local charities too! It's as simple as that!

I've been friends with Lauren for many years and our friendship started and grew by going to gigs together. When Lauren first told me about her concept for Be Kind Live I couldn't be more supportive of such an amazing project! I am so proud to to be part of this journey!
